“Te Escucho” se dirige hacia los asuntos de salud mental más importantes que afectan la comunidad latina hoy día. Un panel de expertos habla con María Esther Caceres de El Zol 107.9 en Washington, D.C. sobre las barreras culturales, los asuntes de inmigración, y la falta de acceso que pueden crear obstáculos para latinos en busca de atención médica de salud mental. “Te Escucho” addresses the most pressing mental health issues that affect the Latino community today. A panel of experts joins María Esther Caceres, host of “Tu Familia Zol” on Washington D.C.’s El Zol 107.9, to discuss the cultural barriers, immigration issues, and lack of access that can create obstacles for Latinos seeking mental health care. However, there is hope - prevention, early detection, and treatment are available, and “Te Escucho” creates an open dialogue and provides a comprehensive list of resources about this important topic in Spanish.
